Graduation & Goodbyes

Costa Rica became home and people I shared it with, both local and foreign, became family. God knows we're meant for community and He has been faithful to me in providing the companionship I need in each location and in each season. An unfortunate side effect of quality friendships is when the location changes and the seasons change, goodbyes are inevitable and hard. I am thankful that that doesn't mean it's the end. It's not really a "goodbye," it's a "see you later." God has much in store and much more to teach us as we charge forward.

Guatever Tomorrow Brings

To renew my 90 day visa, I had to leave Costa Rica and come back in. I had originally planned to go to neighboring Nicaragua, but I had been seeing billboards around the city advertising cheap flights to Guatemala. I decided to take advantage and experience a new place on my own! It was a success!

I covered a lot of ground in a couple days, seeing some amazing things and meeting some very interesting people along the way. I am thankful for the quality conversations and moments to worship! Here are some pictures from my adventure.

Antigua

A hidden gem behind the current Catedral de San José in Antigua. The previous cathedral was destroyed by an earthquake in 1773 and its ruins are amazing to walk through!
